It was Principal Architect Greg Faulkner's vision to create an architectural firm that pursues the making of buildings and places of modern character that fit appropriately into the landscape or urban setting.
Our design projects are a mix of forty percent commercial resort projects such as restaurants, boutique hotels, or golf clubs, and sixty percent residential - are all sustainable to varying degrees.
A related branch of Faulkner Architects is Faulknerworks, formed in conjunction with a theatrical lighting designer, artistic metal fabricator and electrical contractor to design interior/exterior fixtures and accessories. Faulknerworks creates fixtures that are modern, yet substantial, made of steel and glass.
We have established an enviable reputation for creating elegant places of quality and sustainability that our clients regard as much as works of art, as they are dwellings and places of commerce.
For many clients the time spent creating buildings and places is often the most exciting yet demanding periods in their lives. We understand this and pledge ourselves to developing a strong working relationship with every client in order to gain the maximum from this process.
Frequent, interactive meetings with clients produce a rapport and team approach to the design process that is unique. The result is a project that reflects the client's vision and the firm's talent. At the end of the Schematic Design Phase the design is a culmination of ideas that are documented rather than surprise presentation that must be sold to the client. This approach is consistent in our office regardless of the project type.
We are licensed in California, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, and Alberta Canada.
