This ocean front home is located in Paia, on the north coast of Maui, Hawaii. The entry is protected from the street by a small court yard formed by a guest house/garage and native volcanic stone wall. Once inside this courtyard a stainless steel lap pool pulls one through a glazed entry to the ocean and setting sun.

James McIver House

A three-building assemblage carefully inhabits a highly-figured site covered with undulating rock outcroppings – the guest house reaches up into the Jeffrey Pines and provides orientation to the south sun and the main house.
