Greg studied at MIT under Maurice K Smith a New Zealand architect who studied with Frank Lloyd Wright.  Wright's principles of organic architecture passed through Maurice to Greg in an enlightened, direct, and understandable way.

Darrell Linscott AIA

A partner of Faulkner Architects since 2005, Darrell Linscott has practiced architecture in California and Nevada since 1980 and has been licensed in California since 1995. He is experienced in custom single-family residential, hotel, resort, master-planned golf club community, commercial, industrial, educational and recreational design projects for both private and public sector clients. 

 

Since joining Faulkner Architects, Darrell has overseen and supervised the design and construction of over sixty small and large scale architectural projects based in a variety of locations: Lake Tahoe region, Colorado, Maui, British Columbia, San Francisco Bay Area and coastal California. Projects include the planning, design and construction administration of a ski resort mountaintop restaurant and lodge, large scale master-planned golf course communities, the Sunset Lake Tahoe Idea House (for Sunset Magazine), numerous custom single-family homes, a mixed-use retail/warehouse facility and the planning and design of an affordable rental housing development. He has also served as a design review committee member for North Star Homeowner's Association-a master planned community in Truckee, California.   

 

Environmental sustainability is a central focus of Darrell's design philosophy and he is currently in the process of being recognized by the US Green Building Council as a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional.

 

In 2005 Darrell Linscott became a partner of Faulkner Architects where he continues to manage and supervise all aspects of construction documentation and administration.
